Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most spectacular safari destinations, located in the northern safari circuit between Arusha and the Serengeti. Covering approximately 2,850 square kilometers, the park is famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the primary water source that attracts thousands of animals during the dry season.
